Ava Norris
Since Ava has started her dance career, she has won numerous awards, scholarships, and judges awards. During her dancing career Ava was awarded 1st place overall at State Dance Competition, Star Talent Competition, Marvonna Competition, and Dance Champion Competition. Ava was also awarded national champion at Showstoppers Competition and Star-talent Competition. 

Not only was Ava a dancer, she was also a cheerleader. She was awarded All American Cheerleader, 2 years in a row.

Ava has many years experience in pageantry. She was crowned Miss Loris Bog Off Teen, Miss Yam Festival Teen, and Miss North Myrtle Beach. Ava represented the town of Loris at the Miss South Carolina Pageant, in Columbia, SC.

 

Ava has been a role model for younger girls, and planted her platform "Stand Up Against Bullying" in 2012. She continues to spread this message to the dancers at CPAC.

 

Ava has choreographed a numerous amount of groups which have placed highest scoring awards and national champion awards. Ava's Choreographed dances have won a grateful amount of choreography awards along with multiple judges awards.

Ava continues her dance training by attending dance teacher seminars around the country. She loves to learn new materials and is committed to providing her students with the latest up to date choreography. 

 

Ava graduated from Coastal Carolina University with her Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in early childhood eduction. She began her journey as an CPAC instructor in 2015. Ava has a passion of sharing her love of dance with the younger generation.

 
 
 
 
Kelly Kirby
Kelly Kirby grew up in Rutherford, NJ. She started dancing at the age of three. She took dance at Dance World Academy, where she competed and won many awards. During her years of training Kelly would take classes in NYC with world renowned choreographers. At the age of ten, she danced in the Nutcracker in New York City. She also had the opportunity to dance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
 
Kelly has her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Psychology. She is able to share her love of dance with her daughter Madison.
 
Kelly has been teaching dance for over 15 years. In the years of her teaching she has won many overall and choreography awards. She would like to thank Coastal Performing Arts Center for giving her the opportunity to share her love of dance.
 
 
 
KIRSTEN NORRIS
 

Kirsten Norris, was a competition dancer for over 10 years, winning endless amounts of first overall awards in the intermediate and competitive divsion, along with high platinum and diamond awards, she has received many scholarship titles. Kirsten was a two time title holder at Celebration Regional Dance Competition 2 years in a row. She has studied many styles of dance such as, Jazz, Lyrical, Hiphop, Ballet, Modern, and specializes in Contemporary.

 

Teaching now for 4 years, Kirsten has choreographed many solos and group dances, receiving choreography awards, special judges awards, and many overall awards. Kirsten has grown to share a bond with all of our dancers.

Kirsten studied at Horry Georgetown Technical receiving her Esthetician Certification and license. Graduating High school early in January 2020 to graduating college in December of 2020. Currently working alongside with her family at A-Plus Auto Sales as a title clerk and secretary. 

 

Kirsten would like to tell all dancers, keep your love for dance always in your heart and never stop chasing your dreams.

                                                                                                                     
RILEY POWELL
Riley began dancing at the age of three. She has studied many styles of dance including Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Musical Theatre, Tap, Hip hop, and Acrobatics.
 
Riley has learned from industry professionals across the U.S. Riley has competed in many renowned dance competitions, as an elite dancer, where she received overall awards, judges awards, and scholarships. During Riley’s years of training, she has received many honorable characteristic awards.
 
She strives to be a role model to everyone around her. Throughout the years, she has received opportunities to showcase her talents at community events. With various lead roles, Riley has performed in the The Nutcracker Ballet (italicize), in Myrtle Beach, SC, for five consecutive years. Riley works with local middle school and high school show choirs, teaching the students choreography that will enhance their vocal performances.
 
Currently, Riley is working to obtain her bachelors degree in Marketing, at Coastal Carolina University. Riley loves sharing her passion with dancers of all ages, and she is looking forward to seeing them shine on stage!
 
ELLIE GORE
Ellie Gore, a local standout in cheerleading and dance during her time in high school, has practiced dance for 18 years. Ellie has performed at countless state and national dance competitions, where she took home several prestigious awards. A versatile dancer, Ellie began her dancing tenure in tap, jazz, and ballet, and later progressed into hip-hop, lyrical, and shagging.
 
“I’ve always been fascinated with different styles of dance and a variety of performing arts,” says Ellie.
 
Ellie has an associate degree in Business Administration and has had a lot of training in her years. Ellie was her dance team captain for two years, high school cheer captain for three years, instructor for her high school choir groups, and cheer coach for summer camps for middle school, church, and recreational groups.
